How to order valve gearbox
Valve gearboxes are a critical component for the precise control and transmission of power, as they are a key component in numerous sectors due to their unique structure and performance advantages. Jimai is capable of providing valve gearboxes with an output torque of 140000NM. The following is a comprehensive explanation of the process for ordering a valve transmission.
1. Verify the mode of operation
There are three primary types of valve gearboxes: the standard handwheel type, the electrically operated type, and the valve gearbox with a piping network. The output torque of these three valve gearbox types is identical; however, the operation mode differs. Consequently, the operating conditions will also be influenced. Our recommendation is to utilize the standard form of valve if it is not required to be opened or closed frequently. We will suggest the use of a valve transmission with an electric actuator if the valve requires frequent opening or closing or proportional control. We recommend the use of a valve gearbox with a pipe network if the valve is installed underground, as it will require a long conduit to facilitate control.
2. Verify the extent of the connection
It is advisable to submit the valve drawing to us for verification prior to placing an order for the valve transmission. Our shaft will be manufactured in accordance with the measurement of your valve stem. It may be either the square type or the key type. We will submit the drawing for approval for a second inspection after verifying the connection size. Production will commence upon the approval of all drawings.
3. Verify the output torque range
If the customer is able to provide the appropriate valve torque with a safety factor, it will be simple for both of us to select the model. You will simply need to compare our output torque data with your valve torque. Please bear in mind that the valve torque must be compared with the safety factor. If you are uncertain about the valve torque, you may provide us with the valve type, valve seal material, and valve size. We will select a model that is compatible with this information.
